We are happy to announce that the speaker of the January 8th  Forex Group Meetup will be Alan Shambrook. an active member of the group who many of you might already know. We are looking forward to know his insights and approach!

We will meet at our sponsor’s headquarters IG for an hour of learning about Forex all together.

The three pillars of trading: Technicals, Fundamentals & Trading Method by Alan Shambrook

The presentation covers a combination of technical analysis, fundamental analysis and trading method. Each of these are of equal importance. Alan will be showing his expertise using each of these in combination to formulate a successful approach to trading. Alan will be looking at different charting methods. How to source the fundamentals and why that is so important to understand.

About Alan Shambrook

Alan have been trading for 15+ years, forex, stocks, commodities and market indices. After many ups and downs in his trading career Alan started out as a purely technical trader and found the points where his method was lacking and embrace  a holistic approach to trading.

His trading experience and conversations with other traders has taken him to formulate a trading strategy that works and wants to share with others.

Mitch has over eight years’ experience trading financial markets, focusing primarily on currency and commodity markets. Having traded full-time for a period whilst living in the U.S. Mitch now works as Head of New Business for IG.
