OTCBB stocks are some of the most profitable stocks available to purchase anywhere in the world.  Theyre also some of the riskiest.  So are the new OTCQB and OTCQX stocks.  You could try and make a go at trading otc stocks on your own.  You could make a lot of money.  Or you could lose it all.  The thing with OTCBB stocks is, quite unfairly, they dont get coverage by analysts and the general public never finds out about them.  Sometimes the only market for them is created by newsletters, chat rooms, message boards, and buzz among OTCBB community insiders.  Big OTC news often falls on deaf ears.

This may sound like a bad thing, but I dont think it is.  In fact, its a VERY powerful thing that can make you a lot of money.  Heres why

That is a rare event, but one thats very powerful.  Obviously when this happens, the profits are quite lucrative.  OTC companies can be just as good or better than big NYSE stocks.  Even Microsoft was once a 19 cent little penny stock.  Are there some bad OTCBB companies?  Yes, lots of them.  There are lots of bad companies on the NYSE too.  So, of course, trade with cautionbut be aware that some OTC stocks are good companies.  If not, they can still sometimes be played as powerful short-term trades.
