Hard Assets Chicago Resource Expo Merged

Two Chicago-based hard assets and resources conferences have been merged to form a concentrated hub for information on natural resources investment opportunities, the organizers of the conferences have announced.

Summit Business Media, the parent of ResurceInvestor.com and the organizers of Hard Assets Investments conferences in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, said the merger combines the Chicago Hard Assets Investment Conference scheduled for Sept. 21-22 at McCormick Convention Center in Chicago with the Chicago Resource Expo, produced by Classic Promotions LLC.

We look forward to joining the Hard Assets Investment Conference family of events, Rich Radez, Chicago Resource Conference chairman, said in a statement. By merging with the Hard Assets Investment Conference we look forward to expanding our collective reach and introducing natural resources investing to a broader community.

Jonathan Moore, senior vice president for events at Summit Business Media, said combining the expertise of the two conferences would give investors access to a collection of industry experts, corporate mining executives and master investors. We are excited at the opportunity to collaborate with the founders of Chicago Resource Expo, he added.

The Chicago Resource Expo, which is described as the oldest natural resource conference in the United States, was started by Radez in 1977 and originally known as Natural Resource Conference and Exhibition. The Hard Assets Investment conferences have been offered in major US financial hubs for more than 20 years.

Organizers said small to mid-cap mining companies that participate in the combined event will gain access to an established and substantive investment community in the Midwest while investment who attend will get advice from veteran and emerging experts on demand and supply trends in natural resources as well as master investors with deep insight on evaluation of mining stocks and their integration into investment strategies.

Admission to the Chicago Hard Assets Investment Conference next month is free for active investors with pre-registration. All registration includes presentations by corporate mining executives, global macroeconomic perspectives on demand trends and expert advice from commodities analysts and master natural resource investors.
