Global Foreign Currency Hedging Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Global Foreign Currency Hedging Analyst located in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania (PA). This position is responsible for global management of Foreign Currency, Commodity and Interest Rate risk. Additionally, this position will implement the process for improved management of foreign currency risk. This position will interact with a diverse group of finance and non-financial managers within the company.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Optimize processes surrounding foreign currency management
  • Implement processes to identify exposures and take corrective actions to mitigate exposure and expenses through hedging and improved banking relationship management
  • Expand the netting program and intercompany funding for both loans and trade receivables
  • Manage the non-functional currency risk
  • Implement the process that will enable interest rate sensitivity management through use of fixed and/or floating debt ratio, interest rate swaps, etc
  • Work with cross functional teams to implement policies that will govern hedging activity strategy and will determine accounting implications for hedging activity
  • Partner with cross functional leaders to implement strategy to mitigate exposure to commodity price fluctuations
  • Implement a cost effective approach while hedging key risks associated with foreign exchange, interest rates and commodity prices
  • Perform complex analytics and problem solving
  • Translate financial information into executable business recommendations and initiative
  • Generate high quality innovative solutions to both normal work flow and crisis situations
  • This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of global banking, treasury and derivative management
  • Experience utilizing interest rate swaps and other derivatives to manage interest rate sensitivity
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, multi-tasking and relationship-building skills
