If you havent already, join our Facebook group  UF Golden Key  to receive updates and information that is not on the listserv. We have a new system for general member points! There is officially an active member and golden member  status. In order to be considered an active member, you must achieve the minimum number of points in active membership; in order to get a free honor chord at graduation you must achieve golden member status. See the new point system at the end of this listserv. Email us at  [email&#160;protected]  if you have any further questions. The greatest power one has is their influence.  Join us in influencing and investing in at-risk highschoolers at  Eastside High School Tutoring with Golden Key. It will be held  3:00pm-4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (Starting 9/22)  Contact [email&#160;protected] for more information! Due to recent events on campus, we strongly encourage all of our members to walk in groups or pairs to and from events we hold at night. If  you do not have someone to walk with, please ask one of the directors and we will gladly go with you.  Also, we are recruiting students to serve as volunteer night time walking escorts around campus.  If you are interested in volunteering, go by UPD at  7:30  to be trained and get your uniform.

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser Come to the Plaza of the Americas in front of Library West tomorrow 10am-2pm to receive a delicious Krispy Kreme Doughnut and donate money that supports our charities! This semester we will be raising money for Gator March For Babies and The Childrens Table. Every dollar counts, so why not make it

a delicious one?

General Body Meeting Come to Turlington L011 for specific info on all of our upcoming events. There will be an ice breaker as usual, and hopefully an awesome speaker. Furthermore, food will be provided at the beginning of the meeting, and it is a great chance to get to know the director board more. Hope to see you all there! Intramural Flag Football Game Support the Golden Gators as we begin another semester of intramural sports. It is 7 on 7 flag football and you must bring your Gator1 to participate. The field will be somewhere around Southwest Rec (specific field TBA), but if you dont want to play, we always welcome cheerleaders! Games will be held every Wednesday at 10pm starting 9/17. Email [email&#160;protected] if you have further questions. Big/Little Family Reunion  Havent seen your Golden Key Big or Little since last spring? Heres your chance to have a full day of fun, sun, and tubing at Poe Springs! (And if youre not part of the Big/Little Program, just come hang out with us anyway!) Well be carpooling from Gainesville, and there is no extra charge for tubing! Volleyball Game Social  Join us in supporting the Gators Womens Volleyball team as they battle Marquette on Friday, September 19th. The game starts at 7 pm but we will be meeting at Chipotle (on University) at 5:30 pm before walking over to the OConnell Center. Dont forget your Gator 1 ID! Football Viewing Party  GO GATORS. Show some school pride by supporting our team during their away game on  September 20th. Intramural Ultimate Frisbee Game Another Golden Gators team looking to win! Throw a disc around with fellow GK members, or cheer on the team! No experience is necessary to play, but you must bring a Gator1 to participate. The playing field will be near Southwest Rec (specific field TBA). Games will be held every Wednesday at 9:10pm staring on 9/24. Email [email&#160;protected] if you have further questions.

Gator Plunge Day of Service  Gator Plunge is a campus-wide service initiative that we participate in each year. We sign up as a group and are sent out into the Gainesville community for various service projects. Since service is one of our pillars, it is very important for Golden Key to be represented at this large event. Carpooling is available and will be organized by our service directors. Email  [email&#160;protected]  if you have any further questions. Food Truck Rally Join us at the First Friday Food Truck Rally at Cymplify! Golden Key will be fundraising at the rally, so come out to help or support! There is great food that ranges from calzones to grilled cheese and fun to be had.
