Toronto, Ontario, November 1, 2006 — IA Clarington Investments Inc. (IA Clarington) today announced the launch of the Clarington Global Dividend Fund (the Fund). The Fund is advised by ABN AMRO Asset Management Canada Limited, with three of its affiliates acting as sub-advisors. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide a combination of income and long-term capital growth through investment in a broadly diversified portfolio consisting primarily of equity securities of businesses located around the world. The Fund undertakes to pay a monthly distribution, initially targeted at $0.05 per unit.
