Buy Val Vista Lakes Real Estate When There’s Blood in the Streets

Real Estate has always been a great investment, with many fortunes having been built on real estate by the Astor’s, Kennedy’s, Helmsley, Trumps, just to name the big names.

One commanality among these investors, including Warren Buffet, is they take advantage of markets by understanding them, and buying when prices are low.

Looking at the recent debacle of 2005 when people were frantically buying while home prices in Val Vista Lakes and other communities in Gilbert AZ were skyrocketing, most of those buyers were opportunists hoping to buy and flip quickly as prices increased.

The knowledgeable investors watched the trend, and when they saw inventory increasing, with the number of buyers decreasing, they sold because they knew the supply would soon overtake the demand. Today the consensus seems to be that one should not buy a home in Val Vista Lakes. or other community in Gilbert AZ, or elsewhere because prices are still falling and the economy is in shambles. Many feel that if they buy now the prices may go lower and they will lose equity. This is called bottom fishing, and no one can time a bottom.

It’s difficult to relate to that mindset because most homeowners buy to live in their home a minimum of 5 to 10 years. And today the interest rates are almost at a historical low, below 5% for primary residence mortgages.

Each person must determine if buying a home now is right for them. It’s a long term financial decision that should be made afer giving much thought.

However, the fact remains, buying at the top is dangerous; the majority of smart investors bought when there was blood in the streets.
