Can options help predict the future price of a stock?
Possibly through price difference in a put vs. call?
Answer by drtried
The cost of the option is theoretically the difference in what the stock is trading at now and what it will be trading at when that option expires.
Options represent what the public thinks the stock will do in the future.
Theoretically

well if the # of puts is a lot less than the number of calls, you can guess that that stock will go up. However, this is what other people guess, not what will defiantly happen. But you can put faith into options, they are reliable

They arent usually that good at predicting prices.
An increase in option prices without a concurrent increase in the stock price is a better predictor that volatility is increasing than that the price will go up.
How can I predict the future body type (what it will look like) of a Doberman Pinscher puppy?
I will be adopting a Doberman Pinscher puppy and I have looked at many, many pictures of this breed. I have found that, depending on the dog, the body type of this breed seems to fluctuate. I love the Doberman Pinschers whose bodies are sleek and muscular, and whose heads are proportionately sized. However, I have also seen Doberman Pinschers whose look I did not like. Their legs and body seemed very thick and wide, and their heads seemed very small. Is there any way I can choose a dog whose future body type will fit the criteria Im looking for?
What Im not looking for:

most breeders have the parents on site, just look at the parents. and also reputable breeders will have the whole family tree and all those papers with them, ask to see them and make sure the dog is purebred. that way theres a higher chance youll get what you want.
or better yet. you can adopt a doberman from a shelter nearby and that way youll also be saving a life and youll know what youre getting AND you wont have to go through the agony of potty-training a puppy
also, i hate to say this because i am assuming but umm you shouldnt pick a dog mainly because of the way it looks dobermans require a lot of exercise and training. you should really study the breed you are looking into before you buy a pup

OMG dont buy the Doberman photo you posted second. Thats an awful Doberman.
The first one you cant see her at all to see what she looks like. Laying down you can only see a Doberman laying down..
The 2nd dog. I dont like her at all Shes young but she is very long in body.
You can get a fairly good idea what they are going to look like as adults when you see them as puppies. Its not guaranteed but you can get a pretty good idea. How old are the puppies you are going to see?
Read the Doberman standard. Maybe you are thinking that certain dogs you like fit the standard, and thats what a Doberman should look like?
What information is necessary to predict the future?
How do you predict the results of a cause?

You dont need any information but need a fool who is willing to believe in your prediction.
