I want to start this blog post by addressing the latest events surrounding the Cyprus Financial Crisis which obviously raised many concerns among new traders seeking to enter the Binary Options Industry. The Cyrus situation has been covered by every news agency and business related portals on the internet, and has been a topic discussed in Universities and Colleges around the world.

Did the banks in Cyprus restrict bank accounts for companies operating out of Cyprus and have declared a State-Wide crisis? Unfortunately the answer is yet but will Cyrus find a way out of this crisis? This is not an easy question since the debt and financial power of this poor little island, might not be strong enough to overcome the debt and at this point investing in Cyprus seems like a poor investment which makes it hard for Cyprus to get proper assistance.

Two Important Facts In Relation to Cyprus and Binary Options

1) The majority of Brokers do not physically operate out of Cyprus and are stationed mostly in England, Europe and some small scale brokers managed to acquire legal status and registration even in the United States.

2) The majority of Brokers do not exclusively bank of out Cyprus Anyoption operates mostly from Germany and the UK! On the Anyoption Platform navigate to the Banking Section where under Bank Wire you will notice bank account information indicating they operate out of Germany.

Some of the companies which did in fact operate out of Cyprus have turned to Europe in the last months long before banks have shut down all accounts including the Binary Options Brokers Accounts, as this crisis didnt happen over night and was more of a financial meltdown over time allowing companies enough time to take immediate action and turn to different countries. This move didnt really help Cyprus maintain financial solvency and reduced new business formation to %0 which will further deepen the crisis over time.

So why did companies register in Cyprus in the first place?

Cyprus have always attempted to promote business and for many years provided businesses easy terms and conditions and tax benefits. Cyprus created lenient restrictions for business developers, which have attracted business of various fields including Forex and Binary Options Companies which is the main reason why they turned to Cyprus in the first place.

New and Seasoned Traders should keep in mind that they are dealing with web-based companies and the main benefits with having a web-based business is that the company is not limited to the registered at country and an establish physical presence in other countries.

The History and Future of Binary Options

Binary Options is probably the newest and most popular online trading instrument, evidently in the last couple of years these online interfaces have been growing exponentially in terms of user popularity, check out some of these platforms ranking on Alexa.com and compare it side-by-side with other websites and you will find that even the Less Popular platforms are getting around 2000-4000 unique visitors per day and the Alexa online statistics are showing continuing growth.

In the past Binary Options AKA Exotic Options, were traded under different names were not as popular and have gained recognition lately with this the development of easy to use online interfaces. These options were once only available in tiny private exchanges. Before the year 2008 traders had to pay a private brokers various upfront commissions and fees, in order to partake in this Binary Options Exchanges.

After witnessing the exponential growth of the Binary Options Industry in 2012 I can firmly say that this is just the beginning and as new regulations are forming, new features are coming out, this very steep uptrend growth seems to be close to vertical, or lets call it exponential, as the high return potential overshadows old school type investments.
