There has been some recent momentum in the launching of bond ETFs targeted at emerging market regions as of late. So with that in mind, I compiled a full and updated list of emerging market bond funds so that you, as an ETF investor, have a reference point for all of your investing options for this strategy.

Please be sure to research each fund individually to make sure it is the best fit or your investing strategy or portfolio. And if there is more information on each fund on our web site, I will make sure to link to the symbol fact sheet. Also, I will be updating this list as more emerging market bond exchange traded funds are created and launched, and I will remove any ETFs that get delisted over time as well. (Hopefully that’s a rare occurrence)

Keep in mind that investing in foreign markets always has risk, on top of the general risk of any investment, ETF or otherwise. Foreign markets are hard to predict, especially if they include volatile situations or climates. So it is very important to not only conduct research on the ETF itself, but the region or country it targets as well.
