In the Investors Handbook, it sets out as a beginners guide to value investing. With that in mind, we have compiled the basic technicalities and concepts required in giving investors a firm foundation when starting their investing journey.
Initially, this handbook was created for the Universitys student-led fund: UCL Bloomsbury Capital. With the positive reviews and feedback, Direk and myself have decided to share it here for all other value investors embarking on this journey.

Hi,
Very very very useful. I just spent half an hour doing a fast read through it.
Loved your beginning. For someone who was first exposed to Warren and then Ben, sometimes I cant comprehend that Warren is regarded as Bens best disciple.
Warren and especially Charlie believes in concentration and qualitative analysis. For Ben, its more about diversification, safety-first and to be honest, its hard to envision Ben holding the same stock for more than 10 years.
And one has to admit that following Bens methods, one isnt likely to replicate Berkshires early returns in the long run. As a caveat, it takes BOTH tremendous effort and tremendous gift to achieve those kinds of returns.
I am actually surprised you label The Intelligent Investor as hard. Understand that it can be a bit dry but with Jason Zweigs commentary, it aint too bad. People often talk about the legendary chapters 8 and 20. But I thought the value-add (especially for people who were first exposed to Buffett) are chapters 1 and 5 for the defensive investor.

Anyway, mind if I share your work on my blog? Its probably a good one hour read for the novice investor and I thought my readers could benefit greatly from it. =)

Hi 15HWW,
First off, I really appreciate your complements! I guess many view Buffett as Grahams best disciple given how famous Buffett has actually become. In my opinion, I view Schloss as probably a better disciple, given how he stuck to the original belief of Graham. Just that though famous, he isnt that widely known amongst investors/non-investors. With this handbook, I felt that understanding the difference between these two great value investors was really important and it was not something I actually came to understand right from the start.
That said, I would be honoured that you would share my works on your blog. After all, I hope that more investors would be able to understand the concepts of value investing and apply it to their investments, gaining an edge over the markets. Hence, the name of the blog Value Edge. Thanks!
