Maxim’s Clinical Care System

Maxim is partnering with a medical software organization to upgrade its current system. This new software upgrade will allow for a single, enterprise-wide system, which will integrate and improve the efficiency of administrative operations and enhance the ability to track employee credentials.

Maxim looks forward to both the short and long term benefits of this system, including:

• More efficient patient assessments and real-time data entry to keep patient records and medical information up-to-date.
• A robust clinical alert system that sends targeted alerts to caregivers and clinicians if patient vitals are out of the desired range, prescribed medications present adverse interactions, or tasks have not been performed in a specified time frame.
• Automated workflows to standardized clinical processes.

• Automation of Clinical Pathway Updates.

As part of the automation of administrative reports and internal alert systems, Maxim is developing clinical algorithms to automatically prompt clinicians and caregivers with patient-specific updates on clinical pathways and best-practice information as they become available. The automated system will allow clinicians to work on point of care devices, enabling Maxim to have real-time patient data and enhanced patient care delivery.

Web Based Training & Education

Maxim’s caregivers are constantly on the move. Maxim has an online training resource which will allow caregivers and employees to access training modules from their homes so that wherever Maxim team members travel, ongoing training and education programs are available.

Privacy & Digital Medical Records

Maxim is committed to the privacy and security of patients’ medical records. Today, patient records and narrative notes are digitized and archived.
