The Kenya Association of Investment Groups (K.A.I.G) is a non-profit making organization registered under the Societies Act and is the umbrella association for all investment groups in Kenya and in the Kenyan diasporas. We provide a unique forum for the hundreds of investment groups all over Kenya to network and work together to achieve their objectives.
Our Mission
To provide efficient, value added services in the promotion of formal organization, best practice and profitable investments for investment groups.
Our Vision
To become a world class facilitator for investment groups empowerment to ensure maximization of their investment potential.
Our objectives
- Promoting Best practice
To promote the establishment, growth and good management of investment groups by promoting the set up of formal structures and provision of information on technical modalities of various structures.
To provide training and education on the current avenues of investment available to investment groups as well as creating a platform to educate members on “new” avenues of investment.
• To provide a forum for investment groups members to network, share experiences and inform each other on best management practices and investment opportunities.
• To procure alliance, affiliation or other synergy with bodies having similar or beneficial objectives within Kenya and worldwide.
• To negotiate for preferential terms of service from brokers, banks and other service providers for our members.
• To provide a forum for investment groups to articulate their issues and to provide them with a voice to effect change.
• To promote the interests of investment groups by interacting with and lobbying the government and players in the financial and capital markets.

MEMBERSHIP
CORPORATE PARTNERS
Membership is open to large organizations, wishing to partner with The Kenya Association of Investment Groups, and explore possible areas of linkages and formation of exchanges leading to mutual benefit of both parties.
GOLD MEMBERSHIP
Open to investment groups comprising of working or retired individuals, whose group is registered as a limited company, partnership or business name.
SILVER MEMBERSHIP
Open to investment groups comprising of individuals, whose group is registered as a Self Help Group or women Group with the Department of Social Services. It is also open to non-registered chamas
