The Merrill Lynch Investment Solutions — York Event-Driven UCITS Fund is a specially tailored strategy enabling access to Yorks Event-Driven Strategies within a UCITS compliant fund format. As such, it will not mirror the performance of Yorks existing funds. The investment objective is to seek attractive risk adjusted returns, by exploiting pricing inefficiencies caused by anticipated specific corporate events. A range of risk arbitrage, event equities and credit strategies will be utilised.

• York has been running successful Event-Driven strategies for 19 years. This fund will be run by the same senior investment team, and within the same investment and risk management framework, tailored as appropriate to comply with the UCITS regulations.

This Fund is authorised to invest upto 35% of its assets in transferable securities and money market instruments issued or guaranteed by an EU Member State, one or more of its local authorities, a Non-EU Member State or a public international body to which one or more EU Member States belong. This Fund may invest upto 100% of its assets in transferable securities and/or money market instruments issued or guaranteed by an EU Member State or its local authorities, a Non-EU Member State or a public international body to which one or more EU Member States belong.
