Lifestyle website Richest lifestyle.com has put together a list of the top 10 richest black people in the world for 2015, according to Forbes.
On the list there are 3 women out of the 10 people as well as 5 Nigerians out of the 10 people.

10) Tony Elumelu $ 1Billion (Nigerian)

9). Theophilus Danjuma- $ 1.1 Billion (Nigerian)
Former Nigerian defense minister Theophilus Danjuma is the former and owner of South Atlantic Petroleum.
8) Mo Ibrahim $1.1 Billion ( British- Sudanese)
Mo ibrahim made his fortune on Celtel, one of the first cell phone companies to serve Africa and the Middle East. He sold it in 2005 for $3.4 billion and made a profit of $1.4billion.

Patrice Motsepe is South Africas first black billionaire. He is the founder and chairman of African Rainbow Minerals, publicly traded firm that mines and processes chrome, iron, mangaenes, copper, platinum, nickel, coal and gold.
6) Folorunsho Alakija- $2.5 Billion (Nigerian)
Folorunsho Alakija is the second richest woman in Africa. She founded her own tailoring company Supreme Stitches after working in many companies. Her company rose to prominence among Nigerians high society very quickly. Today, she controls Famfa Oil.
5) Oprah Winfrey $3 Billion (American)
Oprah Winfreys once struggling network OWN became cash-flow positive in 2013; however, most of her entertainment earnings still come from both her long-running talk show ( now off air but in syndication) and the successful spin-offs she helped create.

Isabel dos Santos is the richest black woman in the world. This 41 year old billionaire is currently working on expanding her stable of investments. Isabel dos Santos is the eldest daughter of Angolas longtime president Jose Eduardo dos Santos. She owns nearly 19 percent of Portuguese bank Banco BPI.
3) Mike Adenuga- $4.6 Billion (Nigerian)
Savvy investment in mobile telcom and oil production have made Mike Adenuga the second richest man in Nigeria. This 61 year old billionaire founded Globacom in 2003. Today it is Africas fastest growing telecommunications company. It is headquartered in Lagos and has more than 27 million subscribers in Nigeria.
2) Mohammed Al Amoudi- $12.5 Billion ( Saudi- Ethiopian)
This Saudi Arabian- Ethiopian billionaire made his initial fortune in construction in Saudi Arabia. He has accumulated a portfolio of construction, energy and agriculture companies across Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia since he began investing in Sweden in the 1970s. He is the biggest individual investor in Ethopia.
1) Aliko Dangote $21.6 Billion (Nigerian)
With a net worth of $21.6 billion, Aliko Dangote is not only the richest man in Africa, but also the richest black man in the world. He built his fortune with the help of three commodities: cement, flour and sugar. Currently he is working on constructing a private oil refinery and fertilizer and petrochemical complex in Nigeria.
