It’s but the beginning of December, but here at LearnVest, we’ve already been talking about the holidays. for weeks.

And we’re far from done, so be on the lookout for more ways to celebrate and embrace the season—without busting your budget.

But beyond that, we’re also focusing on gifts you can benefit from too.

No, we’re not suggesting you keep all the gadgets you bought on Black Friday for your nearest and dearest. We’re talking about the good deeds you can commit to doing for yourself in the coming year, in order to help make progress on your money.

Which brings us to our December call to action. Inquiring minds want to know: What financial gifts are on your wish list for next year—and how will they set you up for a brighter 2015?

Maybe it’s a proper retirement strategy that will help you max out your 401(k) for the first time ever—and move you closer to those adventure-filled golden years. Or perhaps, like one woman we heard from recently, you’re finally motivated to stick to a budget, so you can work on saving up enough to buy a new home.

That’s right, we’re bringing back the photo challenge. The last time we asked for your photos in September, you certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved winner Chelsea’s depiction of her ideal retirement—a gorgeous outdoor table where she’d eat with friends and family —so we’re excited to see what you have in store for us this month!

Instead of sharing your story in the comments below, please submit an original photo depicting the financial gifts you’ll give yourself this season to submissions@learnvest.com—along with a brief description of what the photo is meant to convey—and you’ll be entered for a chance to win $100!
