What is your own brand?

Having your own brand is when an individual will market themselves and/or products as a personal brand or identity.  Donald Trump is a perfect example of personal branding as his name is on a variety of products and buildings, such as Trump Steaks and Trump Towers.

Internet branding is a marketing technique that is used to optimize your presence in the marketplace through websites, press releases, videos and posting your brand on social media sites.

When you are bombarded with radio and television commercials, they are attempting to sell you their product and they do it my saturating your mind with their brand names so you will remember it when you shop.  The same holds true when you brand you rself.

Having a brand name that is catchy and memorable is good, but unless it is backed up by quality, it is nothing more than just a name.

Creating a personal brand means that you need to create a quality image that is straightforward, simple and is in line with your product.

Easy to locate

Your brand must be easy to find and be able to attract potential clients.  Take Apple.com for example; when you type “Apple” into a search engine, the company (not the fruit) is usually at the top of the list.
