1/6 How the Market Works. Spend $100,000 with no more than $20,000 in any one stock. You should have less than $200 left in cash once you are done.

1/12 1. Read an article in USA Today Money. Keep a article journal log in Word each class day and write a couple of sentences about the article you read. You should also write a line about any articles discussed in class AND who discussed the article. Turn in your log on the last class day of each week. (you should just keep adding to the same journal log).  2.  Make sure to complete using all of your $100,000 on stock in How the Market Works. 3. Read Chapter 1 of Principles of Business. Be ready to discuss on Wednesday.

1/14 Download  Stock Market Questions . Be ready to take a quiz on these questions at the end of the class period. We’ll discuss Chapter 1 and you should read Chapter 2. Stock Market Quiz

1/16 Turn in your article journal log to Moodle. Take the Business Terms Mastery Quiz1 (you can look up the answers and take the quiz as many times as you want)

1/19 Keep taking the Business Terms Mastery Quiz1 until you score a minimum of 80-90%. Once you are done, read Chapter 2. Be ready to take a quiz on Chapters 1 & 2 on Wednesday along with a few terms from the Business Terms Mastery Quiz1 and Stock Market Quiz.

1/21 Business Quiz at the end of class today. Start Chapter 3 today.

1/27 Exchange Rates. Imports and Exports. Read #2 to #5. Then read Chapter 4. Be ready for a quiz on Thursday on Chapters 3-4, #2-5, and Warren Buffett.

2/2 You can take Business Quiz #2 over again today if you want to. I will average your 2 scores.

Business Quiz #2 Assignment: Create a Top 10 List of Employers in Greenfield. Write something in detail about each employer including industry/types of jobs/local-regional-national-global/etc. Greenfield Top 10 .

2/4 Read Chapters 5 & 6. Know how to look up information at NAICS Greenfield (note—do the lookup for 2012 and zip 46140) Do the Moodle Master Quiz 5 & 6 .

2/12 Read Chapter 8. Write 500-700 essay concerning a specific problem concerning human resources, culture, and diversity and how it can be solved. Turn in to Moodle.

2/14 Finish your essay. Read Chapter 9.

2/25 Read Chapter 10. Work on Shark Tank Project. You should be close to done with the financial part of your Shark Tank Project. Once you are done with the financials, you should work on the one page ad. Upload the Financials to Moodle: Financial Summary

3/3 Read Chapter 11. Quiz on Thursday on Chapters 8-11 and Ray Kurzweil. Finish your Financial Summary for your Shark Tank Project then work on your one page marketing assignment. Upload your file to Google Drive: Shark Tank Ad

3/5 Quiz at 9:15. Can Take it twice and your score will be averaged. Work on Shark Tank Project. Should definitely have financials turned in today and be working on your one page ad.

3/9 Read this USA Today article. You should be finishing up your one page ad and be prepared to do your Shark Tank Presentation on Wednesday! Motley Fool Quiz
