Position Description
In Operations, Planning and Analytics (OPA), we partner with Performance Solutions senior leaders and their extended leadership team, to drive quality and scale and efficiency across Workplace Investing Performance Solutions. We do this by developing fact-based, data-driven insights that inform strategic management decisions. Our methodologies and analytics enable our leaders to better understand their organizations capabilities, and establish a credible point-of-view for strategic priorization and investments on process and systematic improvements.
As a member of this team, you will work closely with Performance Solutions Senior Management to assess the current state of the infrastructure required to create, curate and consume our products. You will develop point of view and a roadmap for improvements in our infrastructure and work with our enterprise partners to prioritize and leverage joint investment. You will be responsible for the creation of business cases to support our investments and build and work with teams to deliver on those investments. You will have program management oversight for the duration of any development efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assessment and Ownership of L&D Infrastructure for required creating, curating and consuming our products.
- Development and maintenance of Short and long term roadmap for improvements and investments
- Leverage of Enterprise Wide Investments and build case for WI specific investments
- Program management of the portfolio of WI discretionary investments and oversight of Enterprise wide investments WI seeks to leverage
- Monitoring of current performance metrics for improvement opportunities reacted to infrastructure
- Business Case development for roadmap investments, measurement of results once projects are delivered
- Thought leadership for infrastructure investment, bringing outside in thinking to the management team
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree required — MBA preferred
- A minimum of 10-15 years of work experience
- Recent experience in leading capital projects and programs
- Three to five years of management, strategy or process consulting experience
- Knowledge and experience in a learning and development organization a plus
- Financial services experience desired
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong project and program management skill sets including requirements development, governance and execution
- Knowledge of the drivers of scorecard measures
- Modeling and Analytic Skillset; comfortable with multi-variable scenario planning
- Strong and demonstrated strategic orientation and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of change management, organizational strategy and design concepts, specifically through linkages to process, systems and operational improvements
- Strong analytical skills with a practical common sense approach
- Ability to establish strong relationships and work in a matrixed environment
- Works effectively to get results while both leading and participating on teams
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and a demonstrated ability at influencing change
- Self motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability for results
- Comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys broad challenges, shifting priorities, and unexpected events
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically comfortable developing executive communications
