1/6 Download the following list of numbers. Get the total and average for this list and go to moodle and give me the answers.
1/12 How the Market Works. Spend $100,000 with no more than $20,000 in any one stock. You should have less than $200 left in cash once you are done.
1/14 Download Stock Market Questions. Be ready to take a quiz on these questions at the end of the class period.  Stock Market Quiz
1/19  Business Terms Mastery Quiz.  In a few short years you will be 23. Create a sample monthly Budget in Excel for yourself. Assume you will not be living at home. You should include all of your expenses in this budget. Be realistic. It will be graded on how realistic and thorough you are with your budget. You should have at least 15-20 different categories for your expenses. Make sure to total up your expenses. What will your yearly income need to be to pay for the items in your budget?
1/27 Do 10-16. Make sure you know how to use the mortgage calculator, amortization table, and demographics.
2/2 Take Home Buying Quiz Over Again
2/4 1. Read the following article. How to buy a car. 2. Read the following article on the costs of owning a car. How much does it cost to own a car? 3. Answer the following questions on Google Drive-Car Costs 4. Read the Teen Driving Requirements and articles 1-3 below. Download the Assignment Auto Insurance Questions and answer all of the questions. Once you are done, upload your file to Moodle: Auto Insurance .
2/10 Take the Business Math Practice Test. This test will be very similar to the read test you will take on Thursday.
2/17 Make sure you finished the test from last class. Then do Business Terms Crossword. Can work together. Take a screenshot ( PrtScrn) and paste it to Word. Upload your document to Moodle: Business Terms .
2/23 Download the Groceries for 1 week template. Go to Walmart Groceries or a similar grocery site. Your assignment is to create a complete grocery list that would keep you satisfied for one week. Buy items that you would normally see yourself buying when you are living on your own. Assume you already have condiments/seasonings, etc. and that you will not be eating at any restaurants during the week. You shouldn’t buy more than you need for one week, but you need to have enough to last for one week. I will look at the total cost, total calories, and completeness of your list. When you are done, upload your file to: Moodle:Groceries .
2/25 A big part of financial success is having a career that you enjoy. The other part is having a job that pays you an amount of income that enables you to invest properly. Go to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. Download the following questions: Handbook:Questions. Once you are done, upload the file to Moodle:Occupational Outlook .
3/3 Let’s say you are between the ages of 25 and 30 and have completed all the school that you need for your career choice. Go to Indeed.com. Find at least 5 jobs in the Indianapolis area that would be of interest to you. Tell me some specific things about the job. What job did you pick? How much does it pay? What skills are needed? Then look for at least 5 similar jobs outside of Indiana. Which city did you pick? Is there a difference in the number jobs? Pay? Put all of this information in a Word document and upload it to Moodle:Indeed Jobs.
