Candidates looking for an intense introduction to trading at a professional level are invited to take one of our shorter courses where the key concepts of financial theory are covered alongside your practical development, executing trading strategies on live market prices with the close assistance of the Amplify team. These courses require no prior knowledge, although if you do already have a firm understanding of finance you will find it particularly benificial.

ONE WEEK TRADING DESK. Amplifys Flagship In-House Course

Our flagship one week In-House course, which has been developed for institutional training over the last four years, is now available to individual candidates. Over five days, each candidate is taken through a journey of understanding equity, commodity and currency trading working closely with the Amplify team to build multi-asset class strategies to execute their trades on our cutting edge professional systems.

Candidates are provided with their own state of the art multi-screen trading desk in Canary Wharf sitting next to our most experienced traders. This one week intensive programme will give an unprecedented p ractical experience in the realities of financial market trading.

The One Week Trading Desk short course delivers the following:

• A state of the art Canary Wharf trading desk experience surrounded by established City traders

• An essential education into managing your market risk exposure with the assistance of Amplifys team
• A structured theory session programme covering key fundamental, technical and behavioural theory
• Access to Amplifys E-Learning suite to cover key theory lectures in preparation for the trading week
• Your own professional licences to the latest trading technology provided by Amplify
• Receive continuous reviews of trading performance and technical support to ensure meaningful progression
• Live audio news feed to receive the key headlines first
• The ability to understand Investment Bank strategy reports
• Build a solid grounding in trading account management and develop a disciplined trading psychology

Each day theoretical and practical training will take place on our trading floor between 09:00 and 18:00.

THREE WEEK EVENING DIPLOMA. An Evening Introduction to Institutional Trading

Our Three Week Evening Diploma gives an introduction to the realities of institutional trading as traders join evening classes on location for week one and then implement their strategies with our support for the end of the US trading session through our Virtual Trading Room.
