Ability to take an integrated approach to organization-wide risk management.

Target Audience – FRM qualified candidates – pvt and foreign banks; big four; Candidates should not be involved just in routine micro operational aspects or reporting only.

Credit Derivatives Documentation (London) Permanent

Credit Derivatives Documentation challenging opportunity to an individual with proven experience in the coordination of confirmation production for Credit Default Swaps. The key responsibilities include the verification of incoming counterparty confirmations for OTC, Interest & Credit Derivatives and coordination of the processing of structured products between the legal team, traders and other internal departments. In-depth knowledge of ISDA1999 & 2003 definitions will be essential.

Sales — Capital Markets (Fixed Income and Derivatives)

Job Description

This role will involve lead selling of Reuters Capital Markets offerings. The product line is specifically geared for buy and sells side financial institutions. The target market is front-office, portfolio management, and trading components of a financial institution. The individual will be tasked with seeking & developing new business and driving competitive sales opportunities. You will provide the required domain expertise into key accounts across the sales channels and driving the sales process in a specific vertical and geographic territory

Role and Responsibilities

External Focus

Pro-actively lead sales campaigns for new recurring-revenue products.

Work with Account Managers and the central product strategy teams to develop and execute sales strategies for Reuters accounts. This includes driving cross segment objectives into the overall account strategy to achieve maximum account sales growth

Target enterprise-wide opportunities in new and existing customers.

Develop and maintain senior/management level client relationships

Oversee client meetings to carry out product demonstrations and presentations with the objective of winning new business

Internal Focus

Research, recommend and lead sales campaigns to achieve increased product market penetration

Ensure the effective handover of accounts to the account management team post set up and closure of a sale

Become a product champion for the segment by being an expert knowledge base of the products that are currently being promoted

Work closely with the Core Product and Marketing team to feed product ideas and provide client feedback.

Educate and mentor team members on products, ideas and sales strategies.

Maintain a 12-month rolling forecast in excess of assigned quota, linking the segment forecast with the account management forecast.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS- Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Required Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years experience selling financial industry products. You should have a particular focus on Fixed Income Products

Prior Account Management/Fixed Income sales experience working with major Investment Banks and Brokerage houses.

Proven track record meeting sales quotas

Must have strong client relationships and a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service.

Must have experience identifying and cultivating new accounts.

Must have superior communication and negotiating skills and be a strong team player

Head of Risk Management.

We’re looking to add to our NY based Risk Management team. The incumbent will probably have 10-12 years experience and be responsible for market risk, credit risk and overall data integrity for the NY based trading operations. A detailed knowledge of risk management for trading desks involved in credit derivatives and corporate bonds is essential. Experience of equity derivatives is desirable, and the successful candidate will have previous practice at managing a small team. The job stretches from risk management fundamentals such as setting and overseeing limits, supervising the valuation verification exercise, considering the risks posed by proposed new activities and carrying out due diligence inspections on certain categories of potential counterparties.
